Visual Inspector - API

Acuren is seeking API Visual Inspectors (510/570) to join our team for our Fall Outage in the Fort McMurray area. This isn't just a job, it's an opportunity to grow your skills, expand your expertise, and make a real impact in a dynamic and rewarding environment.

Position Information:

• Fall Outage
• Outage Duration: August 17, 2026 - October 2026
• 6/1 rotation, 12-hour shifts
• Fly-in-fly-out from all major hubs in Canada
• Camp provided

• Observes work in progress to assure conformance with requirements and acceptable workmanship
• Inspection of process piping, power piping and structures from material verification stage to final commissioning and installation
• Utilizes applicable procedures, codes, and standards to evaluate test and inspection reports, recommending acceptable or rejection/or rejection
• Experience reviewing Work Scope Packages
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications

• Must have minimum API 510, 570 
• API 653, 936, ABSA In-Service, & CWB Certifications are an asset
• Boiler experience would be considered an asset 
• Ability to verify and accept material
• Working knowledge of computers and experience with Microsoft Word and Excel
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Strong written and verbal communications skills
• Good attention to detail, with the ability to recognize discrepancies
