WHAT YOU'LL DO Role: We are seeking a talented Quality Control Inspector to join our Quality Control team as a permanent position. We are looking for someone with strong metrology skills and detail-oriented. This role will report directly to the Quality Control Manager. This is a 6 month contract position. Responsibilities: Perform incoming quality control on purchase components (plastic and metal materials). Collaborate with the lab manager to complete daily activities involving quality as receiving and in-process control.\u202F\u202F Standardized measurement inspection throughout the organization.\u202F Help the team to solve internal failure analysis and control nonconformance materials. Assist the quality team in performing MSA (measurement system analysis). Perform capability analysis on critical components. Ensures all jobs are completed to the highest standards of quality and professionalism.\u202F Maintain testing equipment in good condition and calibration of test equipment.\u202F\u202F Report any non-conformance concerns to the management.\u202F Must possess good knowledge of quality standards and working knowledge of ISO certification requirements.\u202F\u202F Experience working effectively within cross-functional teams.\u202f who you are: Basic Qualifications: Graduate of a Mechanical Technician/Technologist Program or an Electronic Technician/Technologist Program 1+ years of related experience in Quality Inspection Legally authorized to work in Canada without company sponsorship.\u202F Preferred Qualifications:\u202F\u202F Metrology training Knowledge about specific measurement equipment: OMM, CMM, CT Scan. \u202F Experience with Quality Core Tools ISO 9001 certification would be an asset.\u202F Skills:\u202F Strong interpersonal, organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.\u202F\u202F Demonstrated high level of initiative, attention to detail and accuracy.\u202f why coolit?
