WHAT'S THE JOB?
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Infrastructure Services, the mobile technician role plays a vital part in keeping technology based infrastructure running and secure.
This is a field based role on a rotation based schedule, actioning items that require a hands on presence locally, and preforming preventative maintenance as required to ensure systems remain optimized. Travel is required for this position. This role is safety sensitive, Pre-employment Drug and Alcohol testing is required.
Service, repair and install network and Internet systems

Local management of Network switches, access points, security appliances and aggregation equipment.

Replace or maintenance systems as required.

Ensure high level or standards, cable clean up, performance optimization.

Maintain exterior systems such as satellites, antenna, or P2P radios
Service, repair and install TV systems

Service and install Pico and Holland style head-end systems

Service and install Analog and digital cable systems in the remote lodge environments

Install physical television sets and monitors including brackets and cable pulls.
Service, repair and install Survallance and security systems

Repair and replace cameras and NVR equipment as required

Install camera and security systems, including alarms, sensors, and support hardware.

Complete backups and firmware updates locally.

Service and repair access control systems, and AI based platforms, guest door lock systems, etc.
Provide Local IT and technical support for all technology-based systems

Support remote support teams with repair and changes on site

Work with users to improve comfort and education

Repair and support computers, phones, printers and scanners, and any other technology based system.
