Journeyman Plumber (Boiler Service Technician)

This is a permanent, full-time role with guaranteed 40 hours per week and great benefits! We are looking for a commercial boiler technician with experience on troubleshooting and annual service on different kinds of hydronic boilers.

Responsibilities: 

• Ensure the health, comfort and safety of our Customers
• Ensure daily communication with Leader
• Respond to service calls in a timely and effective manner
• Size, install, test, adjust and service natural gas and propane equipment ranging from residential furnaces to industrial boilers
• Plan, install and service plumbing systems, fixtures, piping equipment and controls - these piping systems may be used to transport water, waste, gases or hot liquids 
• Troubleshooting and annual service on hydronic boilers
• Maintain and repair existing plumbing
• Complete all required administration for the position on a tablet

Experience and Educational Requirements:

• Valid Journeyman Certificate as a Plumber and a Gasfitter (B), Red Seal is an asset
• 3 years multi-family residential / commercial experience 
• 3 years experience as a commercial boiler technician
• 3 years of hydronic heating experience 

Technical Requirements:

• Working knowledge of English both verbal and written
• Valid Driver’s license required
• Familiarity with computer tablets is an asset
