What You Will Do:
-
Main territories of focus within the scope of this role will be central Alberta areas. These areas are subject to change based on the needs of the business.

Maintains the confidentiality of all matters.

Assist in the generation of sales to new customers and expand the customer base and market share.
-
Assist in maintaining sales with existing customer base.
-
Able to work within a “Team Environment” to ensure that the customer’s expectations are fulfilled and maintained.
-
Attain the knowledge required to effectively represent the PCS Ferguson Plunger product lines including technical expertise for plunger design and able to make recommendations based on well/production data and PCS Ferguson products.
-
Provide/facilitate technical training of field representatives on all aspects (from product knowledge to strategic sales) of all automation; with emphasis on SLB Smarten Unify Plunger product line.

Assist and liaise with resolving post-sales customer issues regarding accounts receivable, quality, product performance, sales and service.

Prepare and present product quotes.

Assist in the development of new markets for the PCS Ferguson product line.

Entertain customers during business hours & after hours within reason.

Gather marketplace intelligence

Strong organizational skills and self-starter required.

Responsible for a detailed weekly sales report summary and sales forecasting as required

Position Details:

Working between a facility and on customer sites/remote locations.

Mainly working day shift operations, with overtime as required

Weekend or night shift may be required depending on customer requirements.

Minimum Qualifications:
-
Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to present and influence at the leadership level
-
Strong analytical skills
-
Strong organizational and time management skills
-
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite
-
Five or more years of relevant sales experience
-
Must be able to travel frequently within a designated region
-
Must possess a class 5 drivers’ licensee with a clean driving history
-
Must be able to meet requirements to access customer sites
Preferred Qualifications:
-
Experience in the oil and gas industry in an asset
